Metal Choice: Rose Gold Wedding Bands

The warm pink tones of rose gold range from a pale pink tint to a rich rose colour; beautiful alone and stunning when combined with white gold.

The remainder of the metals is made up of a combination of alloys, different metals which can help to give the metal its unique appearance, such as a different color. Rose Gold is made by mixing pure gold with alloy metals such as copper. The more copper that is added, the deeper shade of rose/pink the gold becomes.

All gold is hallmarked to induicate its carat value - this mark confirms the amount of gold.

The stamps indicate the carat of metal, rather than the color of the metal, so both an 18ct yellow gold ring and an 18ct white gold would have a stamp of 750.
